Hey, I am in the process of design my new Lightwave Video Tutorials. I am hoping if nothing else just to learn more becuase i seem to learn more when teaching than just learning it by myself. What do you think should be in and what would you like to see in a beginners Vidoe course? I am for someon ewho just bought the program. In the first section will only be a feww mins going over the basic UI of modeler and layout but doing nothing with the tools. then i hope to from there go into the tools and so on... just want to get your input.

If you think about it, you're actually the best person to ask that question. Because you're just learning, ask your self what is the most dificult thing you have tried to do and had a hard time finding out the answer. That answer is an excellent tutorial idea. Answering those questions will make it easier for others to find.

Hey Ryan,
I also saw your post on CGTalk but couldnt respond. Apparently Ive been banned for some unknown reason.

Anyways, I have a complete introduction to Lightwave course that is project based. Youll learn how to model , texture, light, rig, animate and add some fx in a single project. The support is unlimited. Its over 35 hours of material plus I throw in another 20 hours of tips and tricks material (my tour CDs). You can find out about it here:
I have 4 hrs of free videos here:
If you have any questions let me know.

I just bought the 3dgarage's course. I really like the Inside Lightwave books so can only think that they should be as or better than that.

I do plan when i save up engough(sp) money to buy your character modeling series becuase it looks kickass and it really the only one i can find.
