yep its a good tool. i had the occasion to try it with lw 6.5 years ago. now its surely improved. gives very good results for objects presentations for the web.

Loved the article too. Congrats Jeremy! :)

I use it religiously ;) This update is a HUGE improvement - especially render speed.

I have it too (version 4 I believe) but it gives huges files, and that is something you don't wanna have with flash.
The trouble is that with animation over multiple frames, the picture on all the different frames are all different objects for flash, instead of just one morphing object.

Most of the time if I use some nice quality compression and play with the alpha channel and use a normal rendered quicktime I get:

a: better quality image
b: smaller filesize

I think Swift is only realy usefull if you want the specific 'outlined' look or you want a 'outlined' eps file for use in Illustrator
