View Full Version : Deformation Wierdness

I have a strange problem that I have had appear on multiple machines now, and I can't seem to stear clear of it.

I have a character that I have rigged and he seems to work fine, but then when I save out the scene and re-open it the next day this is what I get...Screen 2.jpg

If I turn off "Enable Deform" the character returns to normal, but then I can't animate him.

I am using LW 8.2.1, and wonder if anyone else has encountered this. I need this guy ASAP for an animation due by friday.

Are you using weightmaps? If so, I suggest you check that the correct maps are mapped to the correct bones. Perhaps the saving process screwed them up somehow?

So when you rigged the character, it worked fine /until/ you saved the scene and re-opened it?

doesnt look like a weightmap issue to me....looks like some bones need to be rested....hard to know without the scene file tho
