View Full Version : gravity with null as ground

I've used the gravity motion modifier before, but it only lets you input one ground peramiter. I'm trying to get something similar to its results but using a reference null as the ground level so it could be animated.

I'm approaching it with expressions but I'm open to other ideas too.
I have an if then else statement determining if the object has encountered the moving ground null, but when it has not and should be effected by gravity I'm stuck as to how to wright that as an expression.

I know I'll need to use -9.8m/s^2 and reference where the object was in the previous frame, but I can't wrap my brain around it.

Ideas?
