hai

i cant think straight atm so sorry if this is a basic really easy answer
what i want to do is make textures with procedurals and then export them to a UV map so i can paint on top of that UV map over the procedurals textures that i made

ive made the UV map and the texture with procedurals i wanna use
hope this is understandable because i dont even understand it atm.

thanks!

Try using Surface Baker, that will bake the procedural to an editable image file which you can then use with your image map.

You can use surface baker for this. Create a UV map in modeler which is how you want your UV's laid out.

Apply Surface baker to a surface on your object, and use the all object button. Bake shaders to a texture, and then you can apply this texture map :)

is there a way to bake over 4 point polys? or should i just make them 4 point polys to bake it?

If it's giving you a problem, just make a copy which it triangulated and use the texture generated on the non-triangulated object :)
