View Full Version : surfaces not showing up (a bit of a noob)

I'm working on a completed model i've been animating that I've sent back to modeler to add some textures.

I was UV mapping a part of the model, and then went to change the surface specific to the UV mapped polygons, but the surface change wouldn't register. I thought maybe it was because the viewport was on texture, so i changed it to smooth shade, still nothing. I thought maybe it had something to do with the UV mapping, so I thought i'd try it on some other polygons, and it their surfaces wouldn't change either. I was working on this same model, doing the same thing last night, and it was working fine...

any thoughts?

Did you forget to insert the dongle? I have forgotten at times and find some things will not be applied without it.

Dou you mean surface change in one of the modeler viewports, or at the attributes in the surface editor? Did you saved your object before sending it to layout?

Ussualy fine tuning and texturing is done in layout, see if it shows up in a render or in viper. :)
