Hi

I'm trying to convert a Lightwave scene (lws) with an animation to a direct x format to be used in a C++ game. I've been searching the forums and many have recommended Deep Exploration. However, when I tried that it didn't work very well. When I open the scene in Deep Exploration half the object is missing and the bones are all out of whack. It also doesn't seem to import the motion, unless I'm missing where you can check that inside DE. I have used DE succesfully to convert static objects to the .x format, but the scene files just don't seem to work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

ive never used DE but..are you using IK of Fk

IK you have to bake to keyframes and if you using MatchGoalOrientation then this doesnt bake, you will need to run the MatchGoal modifier in the motion options for that bone

there is also a .x converter by nuclear glory although ive heard its a little buggy

The best LW to .x converter available free (that I have seen) is D-Storms!:

Good luck!
