Hi I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, anyway
I'm new to lightwave and am workin on a curve object.

This happens in almost anywhere I put standard points down.
What happens is, I set down points in a constrained window, like top or front or something the problem is when I look at in another view my points are not all in one plane.

This is very frustrating since I didnt know how to solve this, I now have found that you can use the quantisize tool to squish everything to one axis.

At anyrate its weird since I only used the one window to place points they should all be on the same plane...

Thanks for any assistance.
I'm using LW modeler 8.2

The points will be put down in the plane of the last point placed, (if you're using the points tool)

If you use the Pen tool the points are placed in the centre of the other two views, for example if you draw in the top view, then the points will be placed in the centre(vertically) of the front and side view.

You can use Set value (press 'v') to put them all at one plane if they get off true.
