View Full Version : Camera auto-adjusts to object size ...

... Whenever I load objects into Layout the camera auto adjusts to fit this huge object. Can I tell it not to do this?

I have created a sphere with the polygons reversed so we can climb inside of it, I have then mapped my star field to these surfaces for my never ending star field. My space ship I'm using isn't even close to as big as the sphere, nor do I want it to be, but the second I add the sphere to my scene my ship is so small i can't see it, my problem is I don't know what it has done to my camera to make it fit to the ship again. The only option I know of is to zoom in a ton, but that's not what I want, I want the camera to actually be the 'size' it was before the sphere got brought in. Help...

The Grid size will automatically adjust to the size of objects you bring in, but only if you haven't set it manually. Once you've set it, it will never change it for you. Use the bracket keys ( [] ) to increment the grid up or down.
