Cubicegg are recruiting, for several leading edge game clients, environment; vehicle and character modellers.

3D City Artists

3D modellers should have knowledge and interest in building environments. Knowledge of lighting, texturing, and poly modelling combined with photoshop skills and the ability to generate own textures from photographs. Experience in environmental modelling for games preferred but not essential. A cv showing an artistic background that shows creative ability and ideas. Chosen candidates will have the opportunity to work at a very successful games company.

The positions demand the following of the right candidate:

A high attention to detail
Working to a Deadline
Work well as part of a team
The ability to take direction

We'd like to see some of the below in your cv:

A selection of 3d and 2d artwork.
High and low poly models.
College work.
Games you have worked on.
Work done in your spare time.
Wireframes showing how you have constructed a model can be helpful to show us your modelling skills.
A cv showing traditional art skills and creativity.

We don't need to see all the work you've ever done but remember your initial application is based on the work you send, so think carefully about the work you include.

3D Car Modeller

Modellers should have knowledge and interest in building cars. The right candidate will have skills in high and low poly modelling, combined with Photoshop skills to generate textures. Knowledge of XSI preferred but not essential. A passion for cars would also help!!

Talented and experienced 3D Artists are required with skills and enthusiasm required to create state of the art next-generation graphics.

You should have an in-depth knowledge of 3D Studio Max and Photoshop, with excellent modelling and texturing skills.

Successful candidates will form part of a team dedicated to produce groundbreaking games on Playstation 2, XBox, PC and GameCube. The rewards are extremely impressive, with packages including royalties based on product turnover, bonuses, training, relocation allowances, company car, health care and pension schemes.

Please contact me to discuss further.

Kind regards,
James
