View Full Version : presets - a resource?

Are there any resources "out there" that have free preset downloads? I'm looking for more organic tissue for medical images, but I'm sure I'll be able to tweak somethings. I just don't know where to start.

Not a preset source per say, but I would recommend a plugin suite called IFW2 Textures. It's a suite of shader plugins for LW that has [I think] over 1200 presets as part of its package. i don't know if you have it already, but I highly recommend it for the variety of presets it offers. It's talked about a lot on this forum and others as well. You won't be disapointed. It costs, I believe $75.00 with a year's worth of updates. And renewals of 1 year for $50.00.

I don't remember the web link riht now, but a search of "IFW2 Textures" on flay.com or a Google or Yahoo search should find it for you.

Again, you won't be disapointed.

Thanks. I'll look into that. I remember coming across it before, but it never crossed my mind about whether it could handle organics.

Nodal Ideas is pretty similar to IFW. VERY cool. tThe price for both is extremely reasonable. Do you use them?
