What do you use to control the computers remotly. I have a few computer that don't have monitors so I just hook them up with a power cable and a network cable and the I turn it on, wait 5 min to make sure windows is loaded and then I use remote desktop, but it would be nice if there was a better way to do this, is there better software out there for this?

BTW, what do you guys think of www.renderpal.com ?

You can use Spider controler. Render starts automatically as soon as client is online, and you can easily check the status from the server. You can use a separate remote shutdown service to turn off the machines. Then you won't need remote desktop anymore, except if something really goes wrong. I suppose other third party screamernet controlers can do the same thing, but as spider is free and works ok with LW8... (be carefull with path names, though).
You can dowload it and get some support there :

Same with Amleto from Nodal Ideas. I have been using it and LOVE it. I can remotely run the clients in service mode.
