I would like to put a patchy snow like effect on the terrain floor, with mt. tops covered with snow in the background. I have the mt. tops whooped but can't quite get the patches for the rest? Anyone, have any suggestions? (I hope this image loads right.)

This might be helpful to others. I took my image map into photoshop and painted white patches on it and brought it back into layout and it worked fine. Thanks for your time!

I would love to look at it but keep getting:
404 - File Not Found

The page you are looking for cannot be found. It may have been removed, changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

So, if there's another way to see it, please send?
Thanks,
Carol

Hi Carol:

I think the link that munky was pointing you to is the following:

Texturing 102: Gradients & External Parameters (http://www.newtek.com/products/lightwave/tutorials/surface/texturing/texturing_landscape.html)

If that doesn't work try copying anf pasting this URL:

http://www.newtek.com/products/lightwave/tutorials/surface/texturing/texturing_landscape.html

If that doesn't work, try the long way:

Atop NewTek's page is the menu bar. Go to Community=>Classes/Seminars=>under "Online:" go to the "NewTek's LightWave Totorials" link=>under "Surfacing & Texturing" find the "Texturing 102: Gradients & External Parameters" link, and you're there.

Have fun.

Hi there,

If you still can't find it then do a google search for Gregory Duquesne and the link will be in one of his search results as he is the chappie who wrote it!

Thank you

It's actually newtek europes site, my own is still just a holding page, as work keeps getting in the way of me doing it, which isn't a bad thing really.
