View Full Version : subexpressions can't have subexpressions?

expressions can only have one sub expression? I've been trying to write an expression that has a sub expression with a sub expression. I'm assuming this isn't possible.

A simple test I tried.

expression 1

expression 2
[expression 1]

expression 3
[null.Posiotion.Y] + [expression 2]

using 2 nulls if I use that expression they stay the same y posiotion instead of one of the nulls being 1 meter higher. Although, if I add expression 1 instead of 2 then the null with the expression applied is always 1 meter higher than the null I'm controling.

The complicated expression I'm writing kinda needs a sub expression to have another sub expression. I'm running 8.0.1 still, does this work in 8.2? Also, I'm not using Lscript, I don't know alot about Lscript.

Same problem in 8.2.1, a subexpression can't have another subexpression. Guess I have to go Lscript?
