another question:
trying to animate vcamera moving along this cable/neon-thing.
but i can't seem to get it smooth. on this test-render i allready got enchanced medium antialiasing and motion blur on. since it's an animation, i'd like to keep the render times in a few minutes. could there be a problem in the geometry?

Are you rendering with an alpha? If so have you checked the alpha channel to see if it's got the same problems?

It could be that you're rendering with a straight alpha and the jaggies you're seeing in the RGB channel will go away when you comp the frames. If this is the case the alpha channel of the image should be smoother.

If you don't want to render with alpha, then you need to choose a 24bit rendering format.

the alpha looks exactly the same.

i'm basically rendering in 32-bit targa and placing and editing them the animations in ae. since they're quite fast moving, yopu can't see the jags so well, but there has to be a way to get them off...
