:D Hey, do any of you know if it's possible to export an an entire animation scene from 3DS Max and import it into LW for that final render? I've been told not many people like the Max renderer and I know that lightwave's renderer is beautiful. Is there anything I should look out for when doing this?
Thanks

Forgot to Mention that I'm a proud user of Lightwave and Mac OSX too. The PC's I'm using Max on belong to my school so I wouldn't be able to put Poly trans on them anyway. I think Polytrans is PC only and is kind of expensive. Thanks for the info though. Know of any mac software that would help export a MAx scene into lightwave??

I'm a student at the Art Institute of Seattle and Like it or not, in order to break into the CGI industry I have to be trained in many different programs and computer platforms. Yes, I agree OSX is the best to run any program but as a comparison: Back in the 80's Beta video technology was and still is better than VHS technology but guess who won that fight?:D
