View Full Version : 3DS export to Max

I Managed to successfully Export/Import a human model (15000 Polys) nearly seamlessly in 3DS Max using the 3DS export in Lightwave! Only problem that exists now is that the wireframe view in Max doesn't show, but the other views work fine. I've tried this three times now hoping it was just a corrupted file but it appears to be just a compatability issue; Max just can't show the wireframe from a lightwave 3DS export. Any ideas? I'm going to try other formats to export in the mean time.;)

Edit mesh, select all faces and flip them.
Or, before u save the file from lw, hit F to flip all poly''s

But i would recommend using .obj file format, this one reserves the uvmaps and morphings...

U just have to find a .obj importer for max and i know it exist
