I have a cad layout in inches and exported it to .dxf format. When I import it into modeler the scale is in meters. Example 1" = 1 meter. I don't want to have to think in meters while I am working. I would like it to scale for future changes. Is there a setting I missed? In the Units tab I selected Inches but when I import the .dxf it is still scaled wrong.

Thanks for any help.

Are the units also set to English? If you are working in AutoCAD, try setting the units to be in Decimal (generic) units. Haven't had to deal with this yet, but thought I'd make a suggestion.

Yes, I have it set to English. I am using Cadkey to export the dxf. Thanks for the reply. :)

I have had to deal with this issue before.
I had to make a aircraft stamping tool for 3D printing. Every thing had to be the right size. And It was the LightWave community who helped me figure it out.

Check out this link < Scaling (http://vbulletin.newtek.com/showthread.php?t=30899) > I hope this helps. :)
