I'm sure this is an old repeated question, but does anyone know of a good multipass rendering tutorial on the web?

thanks in advance

Here's a nice one:

If you're willing to spend a few bucks, here's something on DVD:

Here's a good overview and a book worth getting:

I'm in love with Surpasses

This has made my life sooo much easier now that I'm working with lots of passes....a must have in my toolkit!

I've also provided a sample file based on the Proton models I set up as a scene for the LW8 content CD. You can download it here:http://www.policarpo.us/samples/ninja_layers.zip

It's a layered .PSD which should reveal a bit to you.

Cheers.
