I know what lightwave does, and I know what toaster does, but I've tried to search exactly how do they work together, but I haven't found any information yet. Anyone have a clue, or a link to a document about it? Thanks.

They don't really work together as shipped. LightWave can export to .RTV but that's about as close to 'working together' as they get, straight out of the box. There are a couple of companies providing more intimate interaction though;

LightWave Connect maps video onto 3D objects in VT:

Logo Arsenal makes it easier on video guys to use LightWave, among other things:

I've never used either of these.

Not true, Tom.

Actually, if you can find the lw6_vt.p plug you can use the VT as a frame buffer for LW. As well, it will show up on the switcher buss for switching too and fro. Nice for a 3D CG program, of sorts.

Heh,

Nothing like making a declarative statement to bring out the truth. I wasn't aware of that.

Thanks,
