View Full Version : Rotate skelegons/ question.

I can not get the skelegons to deform my mesh in modeler.

My steps are.

1 create a box cut it enough to bend.
2 draw out skelegons. (2 for a test)
3 select part of the model and the skelegon and create a weight map.
I do this for both parts.

Do I need to activate the skelegons? If so how?

When light wave 8 was released I saw a video showing how to do this and I am fallowing it but the mesh does not deform.

Please any help is appreciated.

Also if I do get the mesh to move can I save it then as a morph?

In the setup tab - convert skelelgons
You dont need weight maps either. The bones in LW work immediately as soon as theyre created and rested (converting skelegons to bones also rests them).
I would also make sure the skelegons and object are in the same layer in modeler. :)
