View Full Version : Sasquatch and SoftFX

I posted this message earlier on the Worley forum, but i guess it can't hurt to hedge my bets. Response time is usually a little better here. :-)

I'm having a problem combining Sasquatch with LW's soft body dynamics. I have a soft body sub-D object with Sasquatch applied to it but no matter what the
subdivision order is set to, the Sasquatch fur renders to the object's original (non-deformed) state. The object itself bounces and deforms as expected, but the fur doesn't follow along.

Any Sasquatch users tried this yet? Should I give up on the SoftFX and just use bones?

Did you apply SoftFX before or after Sasquatch?

I applied Sasquatch first (if I recall correctly). I didn't think it mattered since they are under different tabs (Deformations and Dynamics). I'll try removing Sasquatch and re-applying it. Thanks.

Yeah, the deformations are applied in the order they're added, so sas has to be after everything in order to read the object's shape correctly..
