View Full Version : About ScreamerNet +Clothfx plug = ARRGHH !!!

I have some troubles with Screamernet and Clothfx
For a project, i use the deformation plug FX_Metalink ( it's a part of the CClothFX plug in).

When i submit my scene to the renderfarm, my scene is not rendered.
I made a new scene without FX_MetaLink and it's ok with the farm.
I made render test with FX_MetaLink in my computer and it's good as well ...

I would like to know if there a solution to use FX_metaLink with the farm or if it's a bug of screamer net.

Not sure about this, but, did you save the motion? When you render through screamernet, you have to bake any motion coming from calculation (such as particles, for instance). It may apply to dynamics.

the FX_metaLink allows you deform a Hires mesh with a LowRes one.
The LowRes deformation is MDD file.
I use it the MetaLink because i won't make a MDD of the Hires mesh (too much vertices)...
