Is it possible to have the "new" scene editor start up everytime you start up Lightwave (and preferably in the place that you position it in)??? It's "f'ing" ridiculous the way its currently implemented.

Would be nice if you could write a startup script or something to auto-open it on startup.

Grrrr.... somedays I tell ya... somedays!!! ;)

Don't get me going about the Scene ediotor!!!

There desparately needs to be a way of 'soloing' the channels you add in selection sets.

At the moment, you can 'hide' items not part of the set, but they are ALL selected - if you select one, the others 'hide'.

The way it functions now just doesn't make sense, or aid workflow.

If I have 3 characters in the scene and 1000 items, I want a set that lets me see 15 controllers.

Not a list of 1000 items interleved with my selection set (depending on load order, etc)

Surely that's the point?

Careful naming of items may get round this, but there are MANY times (in the real world) when you don't have the opportunity to do that.

All it needs is a check box in the the Options panel that HIDES any item NOT PART of the CURRENTLY ACTIVE selection set

The filtering functionality seems to be in place - so pls hook it up!
