I just posted part 1 of a tutorial series on scratchbuilding/kitbashing sci-fi modeling (the styrene kind, not the digital kind).

This tutorial looks at recognizing everyday objects as a foundation to more complex objects (similar to using primitives in LW), and may help those struggling with detailing their digital models. The same principles apply to both genres (I'm an avid LW user AND model maker).
