Does anyone use Virtools as a gaming engine? If so, how well does Lightwave fit in to your production pipeline.

I used VirTools for a project last year, and there were no problems. Although I did not do any animation, just straight mesh exports.

Animation works too, though there were some kinks I didn`t get to the bottom of. Don`t quite remember what bugged me, but I think it was something like not getting animation off the global root null unless there was a key frame on 0 and 1...or something like that!?

You`re limited to one UV map per surface at the moment I think.

Thanks for the feedback. I found that if you build the UV map first, then split the models' layers by surface for the export, you can have more than one surface use the same UV. Weird, but it works.

Your root null/animation workaround by having a keyframe at 0 and 1 is totally news to me. Thanks.
