Yes - it's me with another IKBoost problem :) How come the tips of some bones have IKBoost nodes while others don't?

If the bones has another item parented to it, it won't have a tip node.

ah- thankyou. That IKBoost sure does slow down the works. It's too bad.

once you learn it, You will never want to go back to using fulltime IK. All my riggs from now on will be IK Booster entirely.

But there is still allot they need to do to integrate IK Booster properly. Once that happens things should get easier.

that may be true. But don't you notice a major slowdown when you implement IKBoost? I may have to stop using it just so I can animate faster. My straight rig moves smoothly. I imagine it must be all the calculations IKBoost goes through but even just scrubbing the timeline, if a node is selected, slooooooooow :)

Theres other things that will slow things down:
Check that show motions paths is off.
Showing keyframes in the timeline can slow things down.
Some other opengl settings can slow things down.
Shrinking your Layout window can also help speed things up.
Lowering your bounding box threshold can tool
Lowering subpatch level speeds things up. :)
