I have to show airflow through a complex object, the object is rendered in xray and has 20
seperate particle paths. for the particle paths I'am using 20 .mot files each loaded on to a
null, each null has FX_Wind applied and it's option set to path. I have an additional 20
nulls placed at the same location as the wind nulls, each of these has FX_Emitter applied.
All particles stream down their respective paths, and are rendered with HV sprites. all fine
and dandy works like a charm.......but, here's the problem, I now have to rotate the
complex xray object 720 degrees on it's heading, all the particle motions are now screwed

Is there anyway to play back saved particle motions and at the same time rotate them
based on a parent's heading?


I'll post a scene if anyone would like to take a look.

That't be useful.... Have you tried parenting the emitters/winds to a null and rotating the whole lot?

Thanks Dodgy, yeah tried that, didn't work.
It seems you can't animate saved particle motions.

Problem solved after taking with Ztreem over on the Newtek forums, I started the scene over and now all works fine. parent key now works.
