Hi ,

I 've seen that the Lightscape post has interested a lot of people.

That's why if you need a more brand new software ( or technology) - Lightscape is not sold and supported any more..... -

you can get this !

the example renders look kind of crappy,but the interface is nice...reminds me of max or c4d.

I tried gile for a while, and although it looks promising and has a lot of nice features its far from a production tool. Its unstable, its interface-engine is weird so that you can only run Gile and no other OpenGL program at the same time, and I have never gotten a satisfactory result even after hours upon hours of rendering.

gile(s) is a very nice tool, but unfortunately a little bit slow. Nonthentheless I used it often in the past for creating shadowmaps for lowpoly environments. Does anyone knows maybe a faster tool?

Love the sense of height / disorientation it has by being based in the sky, and the fact you can walk up and around walls!
