View Full Version : Exporting Animations to 3ds MAX

I've been trying to get an animated model out of Lightwave so that someone can put lip syncs on it in Max.

We tried the .X plugin from flay.com, but it only exports bone animation, which is no use because the weights only work properly in Lightwave.

I really need a way to export the vertex animation. Does anyone know how this can be done?

I have the same problem.
Not tested yet, but have a look at PointOven and this bridge LW2Max with mdd files. I think only vertices animations are supported but I don't know if a way could exist to only export on one hand vertices animation of a model and on the orther hand camera, nulls on wich the model is contraint, lights trajectories. If both are possible, the problem were solved.
