I had only a few more tweeks to complete this but my scene keeps crashing on me. :o So, I felt I will call it completed and move on to another project. I spent about three months on it. Learned a lot as always. I would really like to hear what everyone thinks.

Thats great work!

Very nice, I like softness of the skin, the texturing and the style overall.

Thank you very much. I did this one with some very large textuer maps. about 3000 x 3000 to get the amount of detail that I wanted. I will post bump only and my base mesh once I get back to the office.

Wow very nice, i thought it was zbrush first.
the bump looks great, and very nice modelling aswell.

I found this tutorial about 6 years ago and it is one of the few that I still have saved.

I only use the Bump and Spec maps provided, and created my own color map in Photoshop. I donít change the Cornea either. I keep it a sphere. Also used HDR reflection map. I also setup separate lights in layout for the eyes only. One for diffuse and one for spec only. It makes it really easy to change attributes that way. And donít forget the thin tear that builds up around the bottom of the eye.

A UV map and morph helps a lot for pupil dialation.
