Just to let anyone know... if you are planning to use the Twitch plugin from http://www.interestingmedia.co.uk/ don't expect to be able to use it across a network render... doesn't work.

Wish I had known this before I spent three days working with it

Could you bake the motion and then network render?

I don't know I've never baked a motion before... is that a third-party plug or Lscript?

I'm on 7.5d.

Oh.. AFAIK baking motion is only included in 8. :(

You can bake motion with MDScan (LW) or PointOven (EF9.COM). Everything can be baked: even expressions and bones with IK; the last requires a plugin called BakeIK (I think by DSTorm ?!?!).

After Baking you can remove ALL plugins, expressions, bones, etc and just attach MDPlay or PointOven to replay all the baked vertex movements and the beauty is that networkrendering works like a charm...

That's a shame, it's a great plugin.

Try emailing the author, you never know, he might update the plugin.

Yeah I e-mailed him... never got a response :(
