Sugestions for Lightwave 8.5 :D

MUSCLES - Hability to transform a modeled nurbs object on a muscle
( more complex than muscle Bone )

DINAMIC PARENT - a dinamic parent function with envelope

PAINT FX - A paint effects system would also be a hair solution.
Something volumetric like hypervoxels, but that can be painted using the pressure of a tablet would be usefull for doing lots of complex images. We would be able to create modeled objects out of focus, for example.

METANURBS MODELING WITH MORE THAN 4 VERTICES POLIGON

BOOLEAN OPERATIONS FOR METANURBS WITH POLIGON CORRECTION

DINAMIC WRINKLES FOR SKIN - Allow the program to increase the
amount of sub- D on a painted ( weightmap ) area, and wrinkles happen as a displacement map, once the angle is pressed.

HAIR AND FUR SOLUTIONS

BASIC HUMAN AND ANIMAL WITH COMPLEX IK-FK SOLUTION PRESET

INSTANCING - for modeled geometry

AUTO-BONES CORRECTIONS - A bone inside a closed area will not affect
the neighboor geometry.

To be honest, I don't want to see another .x update to LW8 anymore (well OK, maybe I could live with bugfixes... ;)). What I want to see and hear is that the old codebase is put to rest permanently and a new generation of LW (vX?) is being worked on as we speak. For features I think these two threads (and subthreads) at CGtalk has pretty much everything summed up:
