View Full Version : BMP Texture Color Corruption

When I save RGBA as LW_BMP and load it into any graphics viewer the colors are all changed to bizare neon colors.

Conversely when I reverse the process (IE take a bmp from another graphics program and load it as a texture) the same bizare color distortion is happening.

For example: white becomes teal, grey turns into a hot pink etc.

Anyone seen this before?

I think it's the moron factor... it just occured to me that I should probably be trying to use save exposed, not RGBA, since I'm assuming the A = alpha... in which case, this would pretty much be As intended functionality... can anyone confirm that?

You're not a moron. :) BMP is definitely unwell. Same messed up colors happen when you load a LW-saved RGBA .bmp back into LW.

Used to work ok...
