here is a Visual for a work project that I did this week:)


I modeled the building. Credit for the texturing and render go to my boss.

The client asked for a few changes, so I should have an update soon:)

Looking good, I have a few comments that may help:

1) You need to up the ray recursion level, you can see the 'cardboard cutout' surround of the woman on in the stairwell block window

2) As the shop fronts are generic, I'd take the time to model some simple detail, windows, doors etc. it will help allieviate the flat look

3) Maybe use low poly 3D people? 2D 'props' always look 2D!

I can only take credit for the actual modeling, hehe. I would probably fix the cutouts by upping the Opacity in the texture editor for the alpha channel so that I don't add to render time, but all of that is out of my hands.

I'll have a go at my own version if I am aloud to get my hands on the .LWS and models:)
