Hey,
I'm kinda new at this and I've been trying to make a crystal bunch. The problem I've had is the texture, I'm trying to make it look sort of luminescent but from the inside with a sort of transparent surface. Is there any way to do this in Modeler? I've experimented with different things but haven't really come up with anything.

You could make a smaller version to put inside that glows, then overlay your larger one on top of that. Not sure if that's what you're aiming at.

Or use an 'incedence angle' gradient on your luminosity channel. If your object is roughly shperical it should work.

Or even the Surface Thickness gradient...

You can use luminosity maps like in this example. Theres no lighting and all and nothing inside.

You can also use gradients in the translucency channel based on surface thickness or just incident angle like this:

How does the surface thickness gradient setting work anyway? I've tried it a couple times, never with much success.
