Not here, are you running any of the visual texturer plugins? If so, make sure you're up to at least version 1.22 on them.

Doesnt crash here Mac Os 10.3.7, but you didn't mention which platform

nope, no crash here either, and i upgrade how you just did also: 8.0 > 8.01 > 8.2.

system spec:
custom built
supermicro MB
dual 2.4GHz xeons
ATI Radeon 9000 w/ 128MB
Dual 17in CRT @ 1280X1024

No crash here either.

Just want to add, did you delete all your config's and start from scratch? I had some crashing problems when I aborted rendering because of corrupted configs.

no crash here either...followed your example...renders fine.

this screen grab was from running on my net computer [dell700 P3] on win 98se
also ran it on win2000...no problemo.

Nope, been playing with this no less:

no crash here.

(sinon lw8.2 semble avoir des problemes de compatibilité a cause de la reecriture de certaines de ses parties... )

Didn't crash for me. I'm on WinXP Pro, using an ATI Radeon X800 XT.

I added funky settings to the HV and in the Render panel turned on Trace Reflection, Trace Transparency, and Trace Shadow.
