I got today my LW[8] box and the printed manuals!!!!
I'm now so happy that I can read in the printed manuals, I was thinking I got the manuals in a big binder, nope... but it's ok with this paperback!

However, I miss the tutorial manual !

A huge THANKS to the Newtek-Europe Team for the special on side 2!!! :D :D :D

And it's not a blue ashtray, it's a external HD in a ICY BOX! :D

i see your left handed!.....welcome to the "elite crew"!

and yeah the printed manual is cool...my only real wish was a section of cloth and softbody dynamics...noting at all in there about the dynamics tab really...shame.

The first thing I did when I got LW8 was to print the thing at my local printshop, cost a small fortune and I have it in five huge volumes (even with prinitng on both sides of each page).

What the heck?

I paid $100 for the manual and box and got a huge binder with 8 1/2" x 11" inch paper printed off a printer.

Does it now come with a nice (real) book? I want this? Do I have to pay another $100?

Slayer,

The manual being shown in Jörg's post represents an additional 5 months of work by the good folks at NewTek Europe creating a localized version specifically for the European market.

So any change to order that nifty book somewhere as a standalone ;)

-NG-,

You would need to contact NewTek Europe directly about that.
