I installed the daughter card and now the computer will not boot up. it says non system disk please insert disk..... whats up with that.....

My first guess would be that in the course of hooking up the power connector to the daughter card, you somehow accidentally disconnected power to your C drive...

Huh? That's all you did? I'd take the card back out and see if the computer boots. If it does, you can try uninstalling the software and reinstall.

Weird, it sounds like it is trying to boot from another drive or source.

Never heard of this one before...... :eek: :confused:

Sounds like either you've got a floppy in the floppy drive (probably not), or you did in fact disconnect your boot drive power or control cable. Then it's trying to boot from the next device in your boot list. Could also be a CD in your CD/DVD drive causing this if your boot list in BIOS is set to boot from CD first.
