View Full Version : Safe and restore configurations - VT(3)

I'm having trouble saving and restoring configs. For example, I have renamed switcher inputs, two or three DDR's with material loaded, three monitors, audio switcher. When I save the desktop confg, exit, return and restore, I loose the renamed inputs on the switcher. I'm trying to get some standard configs for the various situations we normally use, but I can't get everything to restore as it was saved.

I usually run oops to clean up old configs. I start VT(3) and the desktop is blank. I then load a saved config, and while most of it shows up, it isn't perfect. I really need for this feature to work for other users, and to overcome problems with Toaster crashes.

If anyone has save and load configurations figured out, I could use some tips. Thanks!

You can right-click on the Switcher, and save thatconfig.
The Desktop save/restore brings modules back to their useage, but saving the module setting itself is proabably the most dependable way to do this.
