Hello all,
I'm looking into the different types of geological data formats (DEMs, etc). I need to find out the different format types that Lightwave can import, either directly or through plugins.
Does anyone have experience and know which types of data sets can be imported? And can you direct me to plugins that might read/import this data.
PS: I do already know about Terragen.
Thanks in advance,

LW includes a plugin to import SDTS Elevation data, and you can probably use geotiff elevation using the Tiff16 loader from Lynx3D,.
You can use my free infiniMap LE ( http://www.infinimap.com ) to render ECW imagery.
A couple of geodata related plugins can be found at Marvin Landis' site: http://amber.rc.arizona.edu/lw/

You might want to check on www.flay.com for other related plugins.

Cheers,
Mike
