hello...

I want a key framed object to inherit the rotion of an object witch is controled by IK.

I used an expression but it doesn;t work.

its a robot:
upperarm is controled by IK. So is the lower arm. The hand object is controlled by keyframing. but...as the lowerarm rotates in bank, the joint with the hand rotates......but the hand object doesn;t.
If the hand object has the same Bank rotaion as the upperarm, things are okay.

but somehow it doesn;t work.

this is the expression I applied to the hand,s bank rotation.

[robot:rechter_schouder.Rotation.B]

can someone help me?

having a problem understanding your problem :D

you say that

upperarm is controled by IK. So is the lower arm. The hand object is controlled by keyframing. but...as the lowerarm rotates in bank, the joint with the hand rotates......but the hand object doesn;t.
If the hand object has the same Bank rotaion as the upperarm, things are okay.

when you say "lower arm" i take it to mean "forearm". now, isnt the hand parented to the "forearm"? if the forearm rotate, the hand rotates with it. OR, do you mean you simply want to inherit the IK bank rotation of the forearm?

if so, use Motion Option > Follower.

apply Motion Options > Follower on your hand object. have its bank follow that of the "lower arm" bank, and be sure to check IK. hope that's applicable to your situation.
