I just started dinking with DVD WorkShop and like the ease of use, EXCEPT...
Every time we hit "Burn to DVD" the application crashes.

I can dump Data to the DVD drive, so I know it's communicating and the drivers and firmware are working fine.
I did update the DVD WS software today and gained a few new tools, but we are still getting a crash every time we try and burn to DVD.

Does anyone have any ideas??? Has anyone found any conflicts?

try turning off Windows internal burning service in the Services pannel of
windows (Administrator tools / services. or open the RUN box and type
Services.msc in box).

I use Workshop to make my dvds as well, but i dont use it to burn, instead I
compile the dvds to the VIDEO_TS directory then burn using NERO Burning Rom
myself.

I also do not use DVD WS to burn to my disks. I do use this to check the size of the file to be sure it will fit on my DVD. I just allow WS to create my ISO file which I take into my burn 'n' print unit.

I have also ran into this problem. How ever I just don't it the ok button. I just let it go until it finshes burning and my disks seem to turn out just fine.
