Hi there. I am rigging a quadripede and a worm and although i finished all the bones and IK setup I am having alot of trouble with the weight maps. Particularly in the thigh region of the character. If anyone could give me a hand that would be great.

I thought it was the thigh you were having problems with :p

If you`re getting ugly deformations at the thigh/hip point you might try splitting the thigh rotation between two thigh bones, an upper and a lower, each with their own wt maps. You can then choose how much of which bone to twist to get the best deformation for the pose.

That`s just one idea. We`d need to see the weight map on the model to be able to make suggestions as to how to improve your existing scheme.
