Hi everybody

I was scanning over flays web site last night when i saw videos regarding

Z Brush 2, I clicked on the videos bit and watched the demos of the tool in this

package. I have to say this totally blew me away from the modeling options to

the deformation options which i was really interested in.

What i want to know is does the package work hand in hand with Lightwave or is

it a stand alone software package. Becasue i really dont know

If any body can help shed some light on this subject then that will great

It works well enough - ZB2 uses mainly .OBJ files so as long as you have a working .OBJ importer (I think I had to downgrade to an earlier pre-8.0 version) it's okay. The biggest drawback is the lack of a proper 16-bit TIFF file importer (though there is a 3rd party fix), plus no sub-poly displacement, so you have to tweak a bit to get it to work.

(They look way better in Cinema 4D I have to admit.)

I've done some basic objects and loaded them back into LW with the UV mapping on, and it worked beautifully. ZBrush is like getting Painter, Amorphium and BodyPaint all in one package. Bit of a bargain, really...

Someplace I saw a tutorial on getting Zbrush to work with Lightwave. I think it was on flay.com. This location also has an updated texture displacement plug in and a 16-bit tiff loader plug in for lightwave.
