Hey everyone im workin on my first (good) render. It is a rocket ship and I want fire to come out of the back. I made the rocket from the handbook and i can select a part on the back and turn the square red. I want it to look like more realistic fire plz help thx alot.

Check you lightwave content you should find a volumetric fire there.

i found one called weirdfire but when I clicj the back part of the ship where the fie should exit i try to load the image but it doesnt even come up as anything. How do i load it and make it look like its exiting? Thx alot

Use particle emitter with Hypervoxels and use the preset from the HV presets.

Silkrooster i lost where it was Im sorry but it was called wierdfire1 and i think there was a 2 also. Thx alot for ur help on the disc I found wut i was doing wrong I'd be so lost without you, your a real help thx again. Gjjackson im new and I found fire in hypervoxels folder but I dont really understand some of the more complex terms =) can u break it down a little easier for me thx.

for realistic fire, check out http://www.gbrocketry.com/.

flames in real rockets are very fast and straight. not billowing at all.

I've used the first one gives good results.
