Hi there,

Has anyone upgraded to 10.2.5 yet?
And do u know if the Date / time bug is fixed?

I had to reinstall my system with the 10.2.4
Because of the stupid date/time bug. Other persons fixed it by using a network server for the time and date settings but i work with a modem...

Please let me know

This is from a post on the apple support forums...

It was posted by Geoff
As of 12:50am EST, the 10.2.5 update was orderable from the Apple Store, with a pointer to a KB article and a comment that 10.2.5 would also be downloadable via Software Update. However the KB article number is invalid, and there's nothing on Software Update.

I imagine that this is simply a coordination glitch, and that the download will be available RSN.

So it wont take long before we can upgrade...
(i hope)

Does anyone know if the time/date bug is fixed that was in the 10.2.4 version?

Some systems like mirror door G4 had problems with that

i havent actually ever seen that particular bug,
but apple makes a ref to a date and time bug that was fixed in the knowlege base article entitled: "Mac OS X: About the Mac OS X 10.2.5 Update"

heres the quote:
"Addresses an issue in which the date may unexpectedly be set to 1969 or 1970 during startup."

hope that helps,
