Which video card has the least display problems with Lightwave 8? I am buying a new Dual 2.5 Gig machine. Thanks.

I have hard problems with My ATI Radeon 9600 XT!!!
When I select points successively the previous point is always invisible. But when I refresh the Viewport the points are all visible again.

New version - new problems!

The GeForce 6800 ultra is a fast card, and does not have the "cannot see my selected points bug". But it does have another issue.. In some unpredictable occasions, the viewport get's something like a grey fog

I think, if you can wait a bit longer, when LW 8.2 comes out, maybe some of these issues are resolved, and then you can have a better look on what may work and what not. Currently, I think almost every card has "some" problem.

On the Mac side, we don't have the luxury of frequent driver updates. I had no troubles with a 9600 on my G5 for over a year, so I'd say it's a safe bet.
