View Full Version : How to make objects appear in front of others when they are actually behind ?

Hi to all !

This has probably been answered a thousand times before, and it's probably very simple to do, but i have a very short deadline. Please help me !
I'm modelling a cartoon character, your standard big nosed guy, very similar to Bruno Bozzetto's Mr. Rossi.
The bidimensional version defies physic rules: his tiny round eyes are at the same level as his nose, but when seen from a 3/4 perspective he appears as his eyes were both placed 'in front of the nose'; In a 3d world one of them would be covered by the nose, so, i was wondering, is there a way to render them in front of other objects, and if so, is there a way to render them in front of *certain* objects ?
