I just downloaded and installed Nvidia's latest driver.
Version is 43.45 written 3-26-03
www.nvidia.com

This greatly improved the stability Lightwave, CG, and TED. Still have yet to check out the other apps. Everything is snappier, apps load more quickly.

I no longer have to do that bizarre workaround for resizing the LW windows.

Stay away from Newtek's LW manual (for LW express so far). Full of major errors and the logic is convoluted. Dan Ablan seems to do a much better job at writing books for LW from what I've read so far.

Anyone seen any 3rd party manuals for Aura 2.5 and VT2?

I have had a lot of trouble with previous drivers and a dual monitor set up... LW was working fine but certain applications kept crashing unexpectedly under WinXP: total freeze. In particular Internet Explorer. Error messages indicated the fault was due to my Ti4600. Running the system with only one monitor prevent those apps to crash...

Just wondering if someone else has been experiencing the same problem.

I'll sure give it a try with the new drivers.

Newtek support said no problem to add on these components.

I was having alot of random crashes before the 43.45 update I installed yesterday late. Have yet to put it through all its paces. Would be interested on how 43.45 affects other systems like and unlike mine.

The past frequent unexplained crashes have been seriously hindering my ability to learn VT2 since I bought it 7 months ago. Spent over 80% of my time on my system troubleshooting it. So far so good with the new driver. Will let you all know Iwhat I experience further on.

Has anyone else noticed performance or stability problems with Quincunx anti aliasing? With the 41.09 drivers, WarCraft 3 will stutter, eventually crashing the whole system. No problems with 2X, 4X, or even 4XS.

It's annoying, because Quincunx is usually a good compromise, but I have to remember to change it before playing WarCraft 3. I hope 43.45 will fix this. Of course, I've been playing a lot less games since getting LW!

I just downloaded the new driver, and when I went to install it I got the following message:
http://davidaguilar.0catch.com/LWforum/nvidiaMessage.JPG] (http://davidaguilar.sohounion.com/LWforum/message2.html)
So I uninstall the existing NVIDIA driver(40.41) & rebooted , and again I got the same message, so this time I just ignore it & selected yes.

Then I got this other message:
http://davidaguilar.0catch.com/LWforum/nvidiaMessage2.JPG (http://davidaguilar.sohounion.com/LWforum/message.html)
I selected "stop installation"(because I was worry that it might damage my system)

Has anyone else gotten this message under Windows XP (home)SP1?
And, should I go ahead and still install it anyway?
